Australian Citizens & Permanent Residents only We’re seeking an experienced
AWS Architect to join a leading organisation on a contract basis. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while contributing to enterprise-scale cloud initiatives across Australia.
What you’ll do - Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud architecture with business goals
- Provide technical leadership and best practice guidance across projects
- Support migration, optimisation, and automation initiatives within AWS environments
What we’re looking for - Proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect (AWS certification highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge across core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM
- Expertise in cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Strong background in networking, load balancing, and high availability design
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration (ECS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of cost optimisation strategies and AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Ability to lead cloud migration projects and modernisation initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, documentation, and solution design skills
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
