Lunch & Learn Synopsis: Recently been given the mammoth task of getting a large-scale cloud account ecosystem up and running or retrofitting an existing one to be the best cloud platform it can be? Are you wondering where to start and what to prioritise? Planning and deploying a handful of public cloud accounts can be completed and managed without a great deal of effort and concern for governance, however, even with the best of intentions, a handful of accounts soon expand into multiple handfuls. Defining a strategy for cloud governance early in the multi-account journey is a critical first step to ensure long term success. In this session, we will explore common challenges to cloud governance and address the core principles behind a well-defined At Scale Governance strategy, with a focus on security, of course. AWS Security Hub, a cloud-native vulnerability and event aggregation service, will make a demonstration appearance offering a real-world showcase of the simplicity to operate security at scale.
