A leading organisation in the
health sector is seeking a
Data Architect to provide hands-on expertise for a critical program currently underway. This role offers the chance to shape data architecture that underpins improved health outcomes and system interoperability across multiple platforms.
The Opportunity You'll play a pivotal role in defining and designing the program's data architecture, ensuring that information flows seamlessly across internal and external systems. With your expertise in health data standards, you'll help create a robust foundation that supports both immediate program needs and long-term sector-wide benefits.
Key Deliverables - Develop a high-level data model ("Data Model on a Page") to support the program
- Define and document data flows across internal and external platforms
- Identify and verify systems of record for each major data entity
- Provide direction on incorporating HL7, FHIR, and SNOMED standards into the solution design
- Advise stakeholders on best practices for interoperability and data governance
About You - Proven experience as a Data Architect, ideally within the health sector
- Strong understanding of interoperability frameworks and data modelling techniques
- Hands-on experience with HL7, FHIR, and SNOMED standards
- Ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight timeframes
- Strong communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Engagement Details - Full-time, 5 days per week
- Approx. 8 weeks (commencing ASAP, completing prior to Christmas)
- Melbourne-based preferred, though remote candidates will be considered
